GEMA-PARTS is a part of GEMA-TEC A/S which was founded on March 14, 1998 by Gert Lykke-Jensen.

Gert Lykke-Jensen came from a job as Service Engineer and Supervisor at Andritz Feed & Biofuel (formerly Jesma-Matador, Sprout-Matador), where Gert has for many years serviced, installed and performed start-ups on mill and filter systems.

Today, Gema-tec A/S employees, including workshop, service and installation staff and management, have more than 30 years of experience in servicing, installing, commissioning and process optimization of process lines and complete factories – all within traditional grain and feed mills, fish feed factories, pet food and meat and bone meal factories, and fish meal factories.

In June 2017, Gema-tec A/S transitioned from being privately owned to a public limited company.
